This past week I received an e-mail for a job I had applied for saying that I was eligible to take the first part of the hiring process for becoming a 911 Communications Officer for the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.  Today, I took that first part which was a 2 part 5 minute each typing test online.  Both test were the same.  Best score is the one they will take.  I'm hoping I did good so I can move on.  If not, I'm hoping that they will let me re-take the test in the future. Anyway, the hiring process is as follows:

Yesterday (Saturday, August 27th) I went to San Pedro, CA with a couple of family members and friends to the fish market.  I personally do not like fish and seafood.  I have something against fish and seafood, even though I'm a hypocrite because I like tuna salad, lol.  I can't eat fish or seafood.  It grosses me out when I see it and smell it.  I don't know, it's just me.  Anyway, as everyone else was eating their

Went shopping for school supplies today.  I didn't really buy anything other than a 1 1/2 inch binder, 2 college rule paper packets, a pencil pouch, & some highlighters.  Some of the other things like pencils and pens I already have.  It is a bit hard shopping for these things because sometimes you buy some thing that you really don't need, or you just forget what you need.  I'm just going to wait until I get into a class (because I'm on the waiting list for all the classes I planned on registering in)

I totally forgot that the street sweeper went by today.  I went outside and saw that damn ticket on the windshield of my car.  I usually set my alarm to let me know when to move my car, and I made sure last night

Wow! Two blogs in one night.  I need to post it out while it's still fresh in my mind. About 4 years ago I stopped going to school.  About that time I had applied for a certificate in Administration of Justice, but my application was sent back to me because I forgot to fill something out.  I never sent it back because I was in the process of moving out to my husbands (then boyfriend) house, so I totally forgot about it.  Well, this year I applied for it again and I'm finally getting it. I will receive my State Certificate in Administration of Justice in October.  I'm super excited!
