JuJu's Land

Y esterday, (Oct. 2nd, 2011) my husband and I went to the Real Steel Los Angeles premiere at the Gibson Amphitheater. We got to walk down the red carpet and it was intense.  We actually walked through it twice because we wanted to get a glimpse of Hugh Jackman.  It was to insane!  Haha amongst all the Real Steel stars there, I didn't know there were going to be other famous people. I just thought it would be the people in the movie.  So, I'll put a list of everyone we saw down below and you'll just have to Bing them or IMDB them to see who they are, lol.  Oh yeah, and I totally forgot my camera at home. I couldn't believe it because I always have my camera with me. It's just that I had put the battery to charge and I totally forgot about it, until halfway to the event. =/

I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I sure am! Tomorrow I will be attending the premiere to the movie Real Steel.  I'm excited for that.  Ok, now to the cake pops. My younger sister, her husband, and her daughters came over to spend the night, and my 3 year old niece came up with the idea of making cake pops.  Well, her and her sister fell asleep on me and I ended up doing them on my own.  I just finished and it is 4:12am. I'm so very tired and just want to go to bed. Anyway, back to the pops.  This was my first time doing them, and I thought it was going to be easy, well I thought wrong. I had trouble melting the chocolate and getting the cake to stay on the stick.  I just ended up doing 10.  I think that's enough for them, lol.

This Labor day weekend was full of family get together's and a street fair.  I had a really good time.  On Saturday, was my grandmas 82nd birthday party.  All of her sons, daughters, grandchildren, grand grand children and even grand grand grand children lol, where there.  Yeah, it was a good night because they even got her a Mariachi

Yesterday (Saturday, August 27th) I went to San Pedro, CA with a couple of family members and friends to the fish market.  I personally do not like fish and seafood.  I have something against fish and seafood, even though I'm a hypocrite because I like tuna salad, lol.  I can't eat fish or seafood.  It grosses me out when I see it and smell it.  I don't know, it's just me.  Anyway, as everyone else was eating their

This past weekend was two of my older sisters kids and her sister in laws birthday party.  My sister had requested I do three separate cakes, but I decided to put the three cakes together making it a three tier cake. She had first told me to make a Wonder Woman cake for her daughter, a construction cake for her son and a guitar cake for her sister in-law.  When she told me this I was like, "Oh my!".  I would've done it, and I don't want to sound needy and stuff but I didn't have the money to pay for it all and she wasn't going to pay me cause it was a gift from me to them.  After a while, she then told me to put her son and daughters cake together into a full sheet cake but still make a guitar cake.  So that was a bit better.  Then I couldn't find any

So this past week my niece had her Kindergarten promotion and had requested for me to make her a Hello Kitty cake.  I searched the web for a Hello Kitty with a graduation cap and I found a perfect picture, (I will post picture below so you can get an idea of what I was trying to do).  Since it wasn't going to be for a party or anything like that I decided to make her a small one for her, her little sister, and brother.  The cake came out cute but it wasn't the best.
